It surely defeats natural understanding to hear such cases more especially where lives are lost,"May the souls of the victim(s) rest in eternal Peace-Amen".You know with the thorough study of philosophy and theology which unfortunately i did not accoplish to that level at times mis directs minds of some people in the due course of the interpretations....jokingly in the seminary we used say "Do what i say but not what i do"may be my senior friends still believe in that..alas may be not. what on the other side disturbs me in Charles narration is one of the reasons for sexual abuse attributed to as lack of accomodation fare,study support and alike seem to be compromised,what i understand may be i need some more guidance about is the fact that clergy are fully supported for studies over seas by either their Dioceses or benefactors,how would the excuse of fund come in,lets just point straight to nature than hide around. On the other side,how ever i concur with Fr,Giulio Albanese that the members of clergy are not angles and even if they were who has all the history of the angels any way ,sorry may i not lead you into temptation but deliver you from evil-Amen.These human beings subject to the same nature though moderated and guided by law of celibacy and what i also know is stories about clergy or any special interest groug is usually blown out out of context and just take an example that a priest was caught in Ediofe-Arua having sex and this would be the hottest ever news for the press with a possible head line "Arua Diocese priests bonking in cathedral"-please note that i dont condone adultery and fonication but let us also check our selves too.Why would you for example go to Clubs and bars with another girl or woman or vice versa when your dear one is at home? when these are asked about us the lay ones the answer is usual we are not bound by the law of celibacy, so can we all join and preach abuse of sex in our societies and i hope this can form a topic for our science cafe. this misconception or myth that communities of nuns is HIV?AIDS free zone could lead to dangerous results if at some moment its otherwise,how about if some argues that since condom use is condemmed by catholic church any sexual chance(s) by these people is live with its consequences where would the next mind be?.Well this was just a tickle and i may share more later in case my submitions go through to be shared by westnilers Draga Joy Carmello
