Hon Aridru, Thanks for this update and commitment. We need more of such and pray together with you that we encourage other persons of influence to emulate the same in their spheres. On the invite, my 1000 apologies since my family and I will be on school visit the following day. We would have loved to attend the victory party physically. We shall however pray for its success and join you in spirit. Congratulations upon your latest achievements and others yet to come. Aggrey Adrale Fetaa

I can confirm that Arua Airfield will be upgraded to International status. The Board discussed the matter last year in August 2010, and we have already approved the upgrade. CAA is awaiting the compensation of the squaters on the land to accomodate the runway. The plan is, to have a runway of about 3 km. I therefore, wish to assure you that as long as I am the Board Memeber and in Government, I will lobby and push the completion and the upgrade of the Arua Airfield to International status. In the same vain I wish to invite you all, for my victory celebrations to be held in Arua Town on Saturday, 12th March 2011 at Arua Public Grounds starting at 10 AM. All are welcome, if you can make it. I also wish to thank all of you who supported me morally, financially and otherwise to achieve the well deserved victory. Please you are welcome. Dear all, I just read that Arua Air port will be up graded to accomodate 200 people and that the run way will be tarmac. In the past there was a talk about making this air port an international one. Kasese gets the big upgrade instead of Arua. Is this not the right time for our organization to lobby for a better air port before work starts for the proposed up grade? The president is supposed to be invited to attend our " Meet the new MPs and Mayors" get together and what an oportunity to introduce the topic of the international air port at this time! Is it too early to start asking him for the things which he did not do for West Nile? What do you all think about this? Would love to hear us talk about this topic. Thanks.
