The President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) Fellowship
Programme (PFP) is an exciting initiative launched by PEPFAR and
administrated by the Foundation for Professional Development. This
programme gives young, skilled individuals with masters level
education the opportunity to make a substantial difference in the
South African healthcare environment.

PEPFAR Fellowship Programme offers an opportunity for Masters’ level
students or graduates to be appointed as Monitoring and Evaluation
Officer, based in Pretoria, for the South African Catholic Bishops
Conference (SACBC) OVC Programme.

This is a 12-month paid fellowship working with orphans and vulnerable children.

Responsibilities:
Data capturing;
Maintain OVC files;
Data quality control;
Verify statistics;
Write reports;
Write reports and submit electronic data to head office.
Requirements:
Masters’ degree or have completed 80% of your masters courses work;
Masters’ degree in health or public health and/or social science
related field such as social work or psychology with HIV and AIDS and
monitoring and evaluation training and/or experience;
Computer skills on electronic databases as well as the ability to
capture check and verify data;
Valid drivers’ license and be willingness to travel;
Computer literacy and experience working with electronic data bases is
essential;
South African citizenship or permanent residence is essential.
