Dear all,

I have read the sad news from Draecabo about the sudden and shocking demise of
Mr. H. Abiriga, the former HM of St. Joseph's college Ombaci. Personally I have
known the late for a long time from the time time he was a class teacher and
through the period he served as HM of the school. As an OB and one bred and
nurtured in Ombaci/Manibe this has come as a real shock to me. Many people
surely know about the contributions the late made towards raising the standards
of the school through the difficult times. God gives and takes. He left his
legacy and passed on his baton. May his soul rest in eternal peace. Please
kindly provide any details about burial arrangements.

Kind regards

Dr. Androa Denis

Subject: [WestNileNet] Abiriga Hercules, Former HM of Ombaci Passed on

Dear Colleagues,

On a sad note, we were informed about the sudden death of late Hercules
Abiriga, former Head Master of St. Joseph's College Ombaci. Late Abiriga was
admitted in Arua Hospital Yesterday as a result of continuous vomiting of
blood. His condition deteriorated until 6:00 O'clock this morning when he
passed on. Those who may not know the late, Abiriga took over the school
headship from late Fr. Mic (Comboni Missionary) in 1984, and successfully led
the school to greater heights, putting the school among the top ten secondary
schools in UNEB results. He retired in mid nineties, where he enjoyed a quiet
pension life in a good health until this fateful day. His death has therefore
come as a big shock to many of his former students, friends and West Nile
Community.

The Old Boys in and around Kampala arrange to have a condolence book signing
and colect contributions to support burial arrangement, at Centenary Park
(Barbeque) in Kampala, today Tuesday 17 January 2012, starting 5.30 P.M. We
pray for God to give strength to the bereaved family, friends and relatives,
and may the Almighty God rest the soul of the deceased in Eternal Peace.

With Regards,

Charles Draecabo
