Members,

This is sad indeed. Just as we held the hope that he would come out of the
hospital well, at day brake today is when we are informed of his passing on.
Hercules to my knowledge achieved his dream career as an accomplished
educationist. That is why he will be always remembered for his achievements in
Ombaci and setting the pace for Academic excellence in the region.

His
peer head teachers in the region all had to leave up to the task because the
pace he set was not matching in the region but matching the Kisubis, Budos,
Namagungas, Gayazas of this world and it paid off. As a matter of fact, there
was a serious competition among the schools of the region.

Unfortunately
this is not the case today I belief among others issues it because schools are
no longer having such leadership. Many of our parents who were in Kampala,
Entebbe,
Jinja and many other cities of the country would comfortably prefer their
children going to Ombaci and other schools of the region because of the
academic excellency. (Including my self preferring Jinja College
as my 1st choice but my parents said no after i was even taken there). His
eulogy will surely be very very very long.

May
his soul rest in eternal peace and to the family members whom most of us OBs
either so being born or knew from the the college and the streets of Arua;
Please take comfort in the God lord cos' your dad, Grand dad or Guardian will
live to be remembered for long in the hearts of his cadres (OBs) and
friends.

OBs
and friends let us come together today at the venue proposed by Charles (BBQ-
Centenary Park) to plan, sign condolence book and also to be part those who
have given him a descent send off.

Indeed this is a great loss to the people of Westnile and the entire country
given his immense contribution towards uplifting the standard of education in
this region. God gives and takes, may his soul live in eternal life.

Dear Colleagues,

On a sad note, we were informed about the sudden death of late Hercules
Abiriga, former Head Master of St. Joseph's College Ombaci. Late Abiriga was
admitted in Arua Hospital Yesterday as a result of continuous vomiting of
blood. His condition deteriorated until 6:00 O'clock this morning when he
passed on. Those who may not know the late, Abiriga took over the school
headship from late Fr. Mic (Comboni Missionary) in 1984, and successfully led
the school to greater heights, putting the school among the top ten secondary
schools in UNEB results. He retired in mid nineties, where he enjoyed a quiet
pension life in a good health until this fateful day. His death has
therefore come as a big shock to many of his former students, friends and West
Nile Community.

The Old Boys in and around Kampala arrange to have a condolence book signing
and colect contributions to support burial arrangement, at Centenary Park
(Barbeque) in Kampala, today Tuesday 17 January 2012, starting 5.30 P.M. We
pray for God to give strength to the bereaved family, friends and relatives,
and may the Almighty God rest the soul of the deceased in Eternal Peace.

With Regards,

Charles Draecabo
