It is very unfortunate concerning the recent events that resulted in Dr Atiku
losing his hand.I pray for his speedy recovery and rehabilitation.The proposal
for a fundraising to acquire a prosthesis is welcome and i hope we,ll all chip

Dr. Atiku's case is one that calls once again to our united spirit of giving we
are well known and respected for. I should very humbly request that we get the
final rate affordable within the shortest possible time. I know some people are
of decent means and others more moderate to poor means. The range of 3,000 to
30,000 is so much that trying to raise the higher would take much longer. Can
we get the range for what is fine for him properly and this initiative then
gets more focussed. I can't imagine towards what we would be helping with that
range of 3,000 to 30,000.
Charles Male and Dr. Atiku may actually have a better idea and sharing this
with the doctors in Mulago and other connections, we should be able to zero
down on the figure or an appropriate range.
This is the least we can do to a true friend and brother at such a time and
thanks to all for taking up this intiative with the urgency it deserves.
I mean well for this project arm to succeed and if our Kampala based colleagues
could volunteer to steer this effort, that would be wonderful as some of us in
Bushenyi are too far and at times too normadic to steer such a cause.
Thank you all once again and my wishes of a quick recovery to Dr. Atiku.
