Dear Colleagues, it is an extremely sad and emotional moment at this time both
for Uganda and the family, relatives and friends of those brave warriors who
have sacrificed their lives in the cause of peace and their legacy will not die
in vain!

Let us wait and see who the other members of the investigation team are and
I expect that the names will be released soon As the accident occured in a
foreign country, the ultimate responsibility for investigation is under the
jurisdiction of the State of Occurance,i.e Kenya according to ICAO Index
13.Uganda will be a representative to the investigations and Russia the State
of manufacturer will assist as well in the investigations as representatives.

These being combat aircraft that were  involved in an accident in a foreign
state, there might be some deviation in interpretation of the normal ICAO rules
but there is a wider angle to it as the Kenya Wildlife Authority (A civil
agency of Kenya Government),Kenya Defence Forces, etc hold stakes as they all
played a role at various stages connected to the accident aircrafts and will
certainly participate in the investigations and I have believe that we shall
get to know what really caused the accident.

Finally, alot of questions are going to be asked (especially around WHY?and
WHO?) and I hope that we shall have all the facts soon because the
families, friends, relatives and Ugandan public want to know soonest-my
understanding and expectation is that  a thorough investigation will comeout to
prevent similar accidents from occuring and for the benefit of the wider
aviation community!

We pray for all those involved in the accident and may God comfort their
friends, relatives and the Ugandan public at the very tragic and terrible loss
of lives.

Anguyo

Government has acted very smartly to avoid this issue, cabinet reshuffle
after focusing on gold medal. Nobody is going to focus on this again
despite the very evident irregularities, not after appointing the same
person who procured the junk items to head the commission of inquiry.
Our MPs are going to focus on celebrating their new appoitments or
grumbling after missing to be appointed or removed. Issues that affect
their people will never be on their agenda for discussion.
I wish Jesus didnt come to die for us, God used  to punish wrong doers on
the spot. As we continue to swallow this bitter pill, it is not easy at
all, I am just thinking aloud.

These are very close friends whom we waved off on the last day. The one who has
been confirmed alive is? Captain Andruga George Buga who hails from Koboko and
the one has now been confirmed dead is Captain Leti from?Maracha, his famous
name, am still trying to get his second name. He was the most senior pilot we
have around and his helicopter is the one that got burnt completely and the
newspaper has also carried the story that the bodies of the?pilots have been
recovered and mourners have gathered at his resident at Bugonga in Entebbe.
What a big loss to us,?May his soul rest in peace.
