BE ASSERTIVE AND STAND UP FOR THE RIGHT THING It pays off to stand up for right things and speak out against what is wrong. I am sure everyone who travels to Arua-Kampala route frequently feels the relief. As law abiding citizens, it was wrong to allow someone/authority to treat people from West Nile region as if they are CRIMINALS. This region is not a war zone. There was no good reason for anyone/authority to intimidate travelers going about their own business.
I wonder if the security people really know or care about boarder crossing points? It was so ridiculous stuff! This is a situation where we should all appreciate the GOOD WORK OF JOURNALISTS (JOURNALISM). Thanks to Butariga for bringing this issue to spotlight and members of this community who jumped on the band wagon to resolve the matter.
