Dear Members of the West Community,

Many of you may know Dr. Atiku in Arua Regional Refereal Hospital. He is
one of the medical officers in Arua regional Hospital. He was involved in a
fatal accident that resulted in amputation of his arms sometime last year.
Despite this unfortunate accident, Dr. Atiku continues to serve his
community with dedication, passion and civility we all expect from his
profession.

Please read the story on this web link (
http://www.monitor.co.ug/News/National/One+armed++Atiku+pushes+on+with+fulfilling+medical+dream/-/688334/1497644/-/dympqlz/-/index.html
).

I am posting this message again to appeal to to the entire West Nile
Community and other well wishers to join hands in helping Dr. Atiku to
fit him with *A Prosthetic Arm* so that he can continue helping the
community. We can all imagine how difficult it is for this Doctor to
perform surgeries with only one arm. Truely, this is a son from this
community who has the passion and desire to help this community.

I am recommendating that the President of West Nile Foundation should take
up this matter and call upon the community to see how best we can join
hands to assist Dr. Atiku. I am certain if we all join hands together,
which we have always done, we can get a reasonable Prosthetic Arm for Dr.
Atiku.

NO DONATION IS TOO SMALL.

JJ
