Dear Friends!
As long as African leaders don't appreciate the beauty of our
diversity and manage it well such bad and bloody history will be repeated and
replicated.
All Governments in Africa must harness deliberate efforts to
manage the political, religious, cultural, ethnic, social and economic
diversities of their countries as assets that birth new perspectives, ideas and
genuine contributions that improve problem solving.
If they do this, it will earn them respect and acceptance for
creating a nation building environment. It is through such an approach
that we can rise above differences and embrace the bigger picture of developing
stable, peaceful and sustainable nations in Africa.
This poverty of the
mind that teaches our leaders greed and selfishness is shared by the citizens
as long as the relationship between all stakeholders is not guided by selfless
leadership, clear communication and acts of working for the common purpose.
In
my opinion the relationship between the State and the Society in Africa must
change.. The society is what forms the state not the leaders exclusively.. Yes
they set policy directions BUT without a vision community of citizens who
genuinely support and own such visions, these will remain concepts that will
never see and translate to change the reality of the citizen’s life.
There is no justification what so ever for the leaders to maintain
the colonial legacy of the state being a master of the society by use of
violence and brutality for selfish interests. It is unfortunate the modern
state still struggles to conquer the society which has no army, wallows in
poverty and disease.
Highly militarized yet continues in fear and suspicion that it is
only safe in as far as the society is fully demilitarized. The state
structures forget they are busy structuring the society just like the society
is struggling to structure the very state structures as long as there are
extreme imbalances.
This is the nature of life and humanity that conflicts arise to
regulate extreme imbalances that are created. It is foolishness to think that
the world is safer without opposition and without conflicts such a desire is
without knowledge and therefore folly.
We need to prepare ourselves to deal with such oppositions and
conflicts in a civilized manner. The harder you hit at opposition the Harder it
gets this often drives to suicidal tendencies of permanent control by
elimination of human life. It’s precisely crimes against Humanity and a gross
violation of the social contract between the state and its Citizens.

Garang had suspended salva kiir for indiscipline in 2000s: all his military

comes back to SPLM. In short it will take decades for SouthSudan to know life
sustainability . As there is an eye for eye practiced.if u. Kill one. They have
to hunt and kill one ie it.my only concern who pressuring East African
community to accept SouthSudan to join at adolescent stage. Is it cause of dry
blood dollars promises into personal powerful politicians accounts? south
Sudan's propoems are more than ordinary proplems kisirinya shouldn't rash to us
for safety and Democratic party of uganda wrote a letter in monitor requesting
uganda to send UPDFs to SouthSudan. That is risky venture and unwise for a
country like uganda to do.how can you send our professional soldiers to fight
ethnic tribes and cattle keepers
