So this gentleman pictured is reportedly the biggest plunderer of Congo (DRC) mineral resources as we speak. He is called Dan Gertler. Unsurprisingly, he is an Israeli. It is said he first went there in the late 90's with $20,000 dollars. Today he is a billionaire businessman controlling and exporting almost all of Congo's mineral resources through his company DGI. Mr. Dan Gertler has diamond and copper mining interests in the Congo. Also iron ore, gold, cobalt, oil and banking. He is said to be under investigation by the US department of Justice for his highly questionable activities in several other African countries as well.
