Thanks, we will try, Japanese funds, we had applied for to date no feedback
on the concept paper submitted in January for Omugo health centre
infrastructure improvement.

When you hear such heartening information about embassy no one should keep
it for himself, one single issue affects the entire region, we have MPs
from West Nile who have long hands to reach to such selfish people, I know
there is still silent economic war on West Nile, let's focus jointly to
forget about this, it will die soon, if all of us cooperate.

Thanks Peter. There is also a problem of bias especially with the Canada
funds for local initiatives. Some friends have applied before and failed to
get the funds simply because, and I'm guessing, the intermediaries
recommending the projects for approval are not from WN and so tend to
reject projects from WN.

A friend from Koboko who used to work for a European organisation in K'la
alluded to this unfortunate bias in project selection. In fact, my friend
was harrassed by her southern bosses to the extent she was forced to resign
from a well paying job. The bosses wanted to get one of their own and
indeed they didn't waste time to do so after my friend was forced to quit.

Peter, please keep us up to date.. don't forget the Japanese embassy funds.
Looks like a better chance of succeeding given that the Jap ambassador was
in WN not long ago.

Best,

C
