Exactly. There are two measures that can be taken now:

(1) Reimport the archive under [EMAIL PROTECTED] (as I did with the old
    archive) and ask [EMAIL PROTECTED] to be deleted. This requires
    only that there will be no messages asrriving from
    [EMAIL PROTECTED] 

(2) Ask admins of this list to include additional header line
    "X-mailing-list: [EMAIL PROTECTED]" - this will make the mail
    archive continue archiving all the messages under the old e-mail
    address.

I'll check with the list admin and post a summary here.
