The problem here is that a new release of translation requires a new "master" Wget tarball. Which invites the possibility of introducing bugfixes, changing messages, etc. Completely uncoupling translations from the master tarball allows the developer to move on, while the translators still have the time to tweak and update their translations until they are perfect, or until the next release, whichever comes sooner. > Here is one possible way to use this idea. Almost certainly the Croatian translation, but also many more. * I don't think there is any one point in time when you can claim translations to be "complete". Errors in translations can always be found and fixed, and new translations can come in for an indefinite period. Of course, the frequency with which new translations arrive will typically decrease some time after the release. The way I planned it, the first version of the translations package would be distributed along with the release, and could contain translations that are not up-to-date. (These are also useful.) But, as soon as the new updated translations started arriving, they would be replace the old translations. The "last" version of the translations package would be the one after which no translation updates have been received.
