Take my sites, for example http://www.ichwillbagger-ladida.de http://ichwillbagger-ladida.de (remove the -ladida) both work. Or -as another phenomena I found- take http://www.uvex-ladida.de and http://uvex-ladida.de (remove the -ladida) They are different... I hope I did not miss your point.
