Personally if any possible I try to not cange my compiles in any way - I'd have to maintain them, and usually I don't have the time for that. Also I'd prefer not to inflict my C skills to unwilling users :) As most users (I suppose) I'd welcome even a temporary solution, but personally only if somewhat official, in the standard sources, reproducable by everybody who grabbed the sources from anywhere, be it the standard places or my site.
