as does this: wget --user-agent="Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/125.5.6 (KHTML, like Gecko) Safari/125.12" "http://idisk.mac.com/tombb/Public/tex-edit-plus-X.sit"; (all on one line, of course; the user agent specified is for Apple's Safari browser) curl -O works fine, however.
