Go to Start | Control Panel | Networking
Go to the Services tab (second one)
If it is installed, it will be listed as SNMP Service
Highlight and remove it.
Click ok.
The machine will dip into the i386 files so, you will need to reapply the
current service pack and reboot.

Have fun :)

I had trouble with the Trap server binding and it turned out that I had the
SNMP client part of Microsoft Networking running which also binds to that
port. As soon as I took that part out, it bound up fine.

I am getting SNMP TRAP SERVER BIND ERROR 10048 (162) IN
THE SNMP TRAP LOG. I am also getting "SNMP TRAP SERVER IS RUNNING". This
prevents me from getting some of the notifications. I tried to find out
whether another service was sharing the port 162 with whatsup. But I could
not figure out. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Jules
