Running WhatsUp Gold 6.02 on Win2k Server. WhatsUp working fine in all other
respects but when I attempt to create a performance Graph it always errors
First I got:

Cannot open SQL Server error

I looked in the knowledge base and it explained how to add the System DSN
that points to the whatsup files. So I tried again. This time the error I
got was:

Report Job failed Error:9

I looked in the knowledge base and it told me two possible problems:
1)Win2000 ships with MDAC 2.5 which blocks access to .log files. (No
explanation on how to change this)(MDAC that is on this server is 2.6)
2)WUG 5.0 shipped with a schema.ini file that was missing the trailing \n
for the last line of the last entry. (Fix listed in article)

A) I don't know how to make MDAC allow access to .log files. And the
knowledge base at ipswitch and at Microsoft were no help.
B)Number 2 does not apply as I have never run 5 on this system (although I
did check the .ini file just to be sure)and it seemed to be correct as
listed in the article.

So can anyone give me a hand. This is not that high on my bosses priority
list and since we are past the 60 new program warranty and he dicided a
service contract was not warranted since the rest of the program is
functioning. I just would like to get it to work. So if anyone has any ideas
what I can do I would appreciate it.
