I am currently implementing WUG 6.02 across a network comprised mainly of NT Servers and workstations, and Sun Microsystems Sparcstations and Ultra 1s. So far I have managed to extract the necessary MIBs that allow me to read the Process Table on each of the Sun boxes via the SNMP viewer, and what I would like to do is create custom services that relate to key processes in these tables and will notify me if they die. Having contacted Ipswitch support, I was advised to use the SNMP Threshold plug-in to monitor OID's specific to each of the processes, which I am experimenting with at the moment on a trial and error basis. I was wondering if anyone out there has set up something similar and might be able to give me a couple of pointers TIA Toby Masson
