Sorry folks, I went to do the File/Properties thing (no read receipts) and
hit Send instead!!

I'm running WUG 4.05 and am attempting to prove that I am getting the
bandwidth that my service provider says I am . . . . but when I send a bunch
of packets to a remote location the throughput does not get above about 57k
on a 64k link . . . . it makes no difference if I send small packets (5k) or
big 'uns (1024/2048k).
I have started at 50 packets and gone the whole hog and sent 5,000 of big
and little (5k - 2048k) still the same result.

So my question . . . .
Is this an artifact of WUG or is there in your opinion something more
esoteric, like:

1 I am not getting the bandwidth
2 WUG does not try hard enough
3 There is something I don't know (highly likely!)

Any advice and or suggestions gratefully received . . . (and I'll summarise
for the archive!)
TIA
Peter
