In addition to changing the polling frequency, you would also want to
increase the poll timeout.  You can do this for each device under Item
Properties or under Map Properties for the entire map.  The maximum timeout
is 20 seconds, but the default is 5 seconds.  I would suggest increasing the
timeout, to see if you receive more accurate results.
