The quiet button is used when you have a sound notification set up and it is
set for continuous play. Once a device goes down and the notification is
triggered, the sound will continue until you choose the Quiet button. If
the sound notification is not triggered, the Quiet button will be greyed
out. Therefore, typically the Quiet button is greyed and not serving an
immediate function. It is located on the toolbar: its an ear symbol within
a crossed circle icon.
