Nothing that complicated =)

It's a silly smlal thing I'm asking. Not involving web interfaces or
anything of that nature.

When WUG7 is in ministatus you will see what services are being monitored
under the name of the server/item you are monitoring. For example, on a
unix server you might see small boxes under the servers name with ftp, http,
telnet, ect. On WUG6 there were small bars displayed to show what you were
monitoring. On WUG7 it fills in the entire area under the item you are
monitoring. So if I have 4 servers in a catagory & one of those servers is
only running FTP then I have a small server name with a big box titled FTP.
Kind of like having an 8pt font server name & a 36 pt font service name.

If your bored try making a ghost server & service in it's own row on WUG7 &
you should see what I'm talking about. Sorry to nitpick but it's just an
annoyance.

The main reason I'm after this is that I'm working on getting a TV & running
a video out to it from our WUG box. This will make a quick & easy reference
for the technical staff here since we're all located in a large room & only
a couple of us recieve pages when things go down. More or less I want
things to look "pretty & green" ;)

Good morning,

To switch from ministatus mode to full monitor mode, left mouse double click
anywhere in the ministatus view window.

I'm not really sure what you are asking for in your other question. If it
is a quickstatus of a device, click on a device, right mouse click and
select Quick Status and then select the Status category. You'd have to do
this on every device.

But have you also taken a look at the web templates issued with WhatsUp Gold
7? You will be able to customize the look and feel and a good deal of
different ways. Follow the link

http://www.ipswitch.com/Support/whatsup/plugins.html and download the web
template technical reference and alternate webpages.

I just upgraded to v7 (took me long enough, i know.) Usually I run in
ministatus mode & have everything displayed so we cen easily spot what's
going on in the tech room. However, some of our servers are only running a
couple services (http, ftp, ect) & the ministatus shows large sections with
the service under the server name.

Now he's my silly question. Does anybody know of a way to switch it back to
(for lack of a better term) "classic mode." If it's possible I would like
to have the small bars with the monitored service under the server name.
Not a big thing but it would make the display easier to read for the other
techs & myself.
