Yes we are monitoring access points, but ours are older pre 802.11b versions by
Aironet. We have problems with them locking up and needed to be restarted. We
came up with a solution which could be used for any problematic device. We plug
the Aironet AP into a APC snmp capable powerstrip and when the access point
stops responding to pings, WUG runs a bat file that fires off an snmp set to the
APC power strip and causes it to momentarily shut off power to the access point
and back on so it restarts! Works great.

We also put links in the info and notes fields so we can browse the aps and also
display a diagram of the network the device is connected to. Good luck.
