Alain, You can also monitor any performance metric using one of many plugins we've developed without using SNMP. This plugin provides you with a dynamic list of available metrics to monitor. Configure the comparison logic for pass/fail within the custom service, and provide the variable to compare it to in General/Info Line 1. The results from each poll are temporarily logged into Info Line 2, as well as stored in an SQL database that you can report from for trending purposes.
