if the snmp trap is constant for each device, and different from the beginning and the end of a session. Then you should be able to create a seperate node and have it be "up" when the start snmp is received and "down" when the end snmp is received and not poll the device at all.

Hi all, I use WUP to monitoring public internet kiosk like . Each device sends a snmp trap to WUP at the beginning and at the end of a user session. What i would like is to have a visual indication at the WUP console indicating that a kiosk is currently in use. Unfortunately it is not possible to change device color on the reception of a trap so i was wondering if someone else would have a brilliant idea on how to achieve my goal.
