I have version 7.04 running on 2000 server, and I get false downs on numerous devices that I have spread over 180 subnets. This problem only comes about when installed on our dual Xeon Dell servers. Version 7.04 with 2000 server running on a single proc. workstation computer has no problems, but is overloaded. I have cleared the Arp table, checked DNS and Wins entries, checked the routing table, and upped the timeout to 10 seconds on some devices for testing. Still get false alert, but can ping device from inside WUG clean. I have also copied the entire whatsup dir onto the new server, but still have the same issues. Please Help...
