I use the hub icon for my switches. Just give each one a useful title. It works very well. If you have a lot of switches that you want to look different, you could create new devices using the same icons but have different overlay text. This is how I have shown the difference between my hubs, switches, and terminal servers. They all have the same icon but are different device types, with a overlay text. It shows different in the map view, and in reports they have different device types listed.
