Hello Edgars,

We have I monitoring system to monitor our network/servers and are
evaluating WUG to see if it's the right tool to replace our (selfmade)
monitoring system.
The thing we are looking for is a way to make the configuration file for
mrtg from the data
of the WUG maps in some automated way.
Our present system (wich works with a backend database) makes the mrtg
config files.
As soon as we add a server/router to the database an mrtg config file is
made.
It is used primarely for monitoring datatraffic.
Your hint on displaying the mrtgs look usefull to me.

Thanks,

Arwin.

Hi Arwin!

MRTG collect snmp info by itself why
and which snmp data do you need in mrtg?!?

We have mrtg already installed on Linux and we can see mrtg data from
whatsup pages ( the same as Denika, but cost free :) ):
Take according device's mrtg www source,
correct links and image locations (local mrtg links replace with url links
from whatsup server to mrtg)
and put in according device's notes page in whatsup.

It's working fine but you should do this by hand and whatsup will take all
info from mrtg:(

Edgars.

Richard,

We already have a mrtg-system.
I'm only looking for a way to get snmp-data
collected by WUG into that system.

Thanks anyway,

Arwin.

Hello all,

Doe anybody know if it's possible to integrate mrtg in whatsup gold?
We already have a selfmade mrtg-system, so it would be great if we could
feed this system with snmp-data wich is collected by wug somehow.
