Actually it doesn't seem excessive to me after a few years of
being on the list. I didn't check my archives of the list which
has thousands of messages but in the last 775 posts there have
been 28 that mentioned "denika" and a total of 45 that mentioned
"MRTG". The two searches include duplicates of each other and include the
current rant which is growing. I hardly think they are all
promotional from my cursor examination.
If any criticism is due it probably should be to those who don't
check the KB and archives before asking questions about often
discussed topics. Generally, at least in my view, the posts have
been legitimate attempts to answer questions. I personally have
gained knowledge from posts about both MRTG and DENIKA.
I suppose this is a personal thing for me but why use the "drone"
pejorative? I assume you mean someone who is intellectually
impotent in this case. It seems to me that it would be better to
be respectful of one another regardless of whether we agree with
one another.

If you hadn't asked this I wouldn't have answered this post at
all.
HS> At least limit it to no more than one plug a month, Ok?
Really this doesn't make sense to me. If someone asks a question
surely it is not unreasonable for someone else to answer. If
denika or mrtg is a potential solution I just don't see much harm
and quite a bit of possible help.
HS> Flames to my personal email accepted- I'll reply (nicely) to all.
I'm not flaming you. I respect your opinion. I don't happen to
agree with you. We live in a day when everyone seems to think that
everything is some sort of contest to be won or lost. It is
neither unreasonable nor is it wrong for people to have differing
opinions.
