Probably the easiest way is to set your netbotz to send out a trap when
there is a temperature alert, then configure the whatsup notification to
send an email to you when it receives that trap You need to create a email
notification within WUG that only responds to the NetBotzTemperatureHigh
trap (if my memory serves me correctly)

Subject: [WhatsUp Forum] Monitoring temp with SNMP

Folks,

I'm trying to get an idea if monitoring devices using SNMP on certain
devices would be worth it. I am a novice when it comes to the SNMP aspect
of networking.

For example I have a Netbotz temp/humd monitor in our server room. Right now
all the alerts goto my mailbox, it would be really slick if I could monitor
the temp using Whatsup and have all the alerts come from Whatsup. From what
I've read, I realize SNMP is no walk in the park, but I would like to see an
example of what I can do with it before I take that walk. Can someone
explain (if it's possible) how to monitor the temp setting in whatsup?
