I currently have a device that is down every Monday morning from 2:30 AM until 5:30 AM for a normal weekly backup. I currently have this device sending me e-mails so that I can use the e-mails to track it's down time. The problem lately is that the backup has not been completing and the system stays down until 8:00 AM when I arrive at work and see it. I tried setting my alerts so that e-mail are at 24 hours a day and SMS messages to my phone are only from 6-8 AM. Unfortunately, the device is already down at 6 AM, so it never sends alerts. Is there a way that I can set it up so that if it is STILL down at 6:00 AM I get an SMS alert?
