Hi all. I just thought I would pick some brains out there....if you all
don't mind that is.

I have a situation where, if a server is down, I want to dynamically change
a DNS entry to redirect traffic to a DRP type site. I have seen hardware
based products from F5, Cisco that do Layer7 switching and even one that is
simply a dynamic DNS (3-DNS) and a few commercial software DNS servers that
do this (IntelliDNS)......but these are all very expensive options.....I am
looking for a freeware/shareware/homegrown solution......

Anyone out there have experience in this at all?
