Hi, people. I need to set up some HTTP content scans in WUG 7.04. Not too skilled in this area. In browsing the knowledge base and manual, let me see if I've got it right.
Wanting to monitor our company's website home page, we're going to have a comment permanently encoded (Keane IT monitoring), which I will run the content scan for. I'm going to create a device for the webserver (with IP address). I'm then going to fiddle with the HTTP Content Scan service included with 7.04 as such: Here's the default HTTP Content Scan coding......... Send=GET / HTTP/1.0\r\nAccept: */*\r\nUser-Agent: Ipswitch_Whatsup/4.0\r\n\r\n Expect=~.*</html> I want to look for "Keane IT monitoring" on the homepage www.keane.com. The url for the homepage is http://www.keane.com/index.shtml. What should my Send and Expect lines look like?? Thanks......................
