Can anyone shed some light on what could cause delays in SMTP email notifications? I have noticed that at times if I have a large number of devices alert at the same time that some email que backs up and stacks the email notifications. For example I got an email notification dated 12/2/02 at 05:21 for a device that alerted 12/1 07:47 and others trickle in after that about every 5-10 minutes. I am thinking that it might be in the WUG server since if I reboot it the email alerts will stop coming..... Any ideas?
