I've asked similar questions of Ipswitch (hey, do you have a generic process-execution COM program) and have gotten nowhere. I'd be interested in helping with this. I'm pretty familiar with the .NET framework now, but really don't understand VC++ well enough to deal with the complexities of COM directly. I could try implementing a .NET object that implements the same interface as the COM object requires, but I didn't have a pressing need to do this (but just wanted the flexibility). > If this were possible then the WUG community could > start sharing the Perl Scripts so that we could > set up much more complex monitoring. > > I have a web site and would be willing to host > and maintain an http repository of WUG custom services > in an "Freeware" style thing, but I need a > professional programmer who understands that > COM object thing to get an "extension" available. Hear hear! How about just putting a Sourceforge site together for this? -bws Please visit http://www.ipswitch.com/support/mailing-lists.html to be removed from this list.
