  I've asked similar questions of Ipswitch (hey, do you have a generic 
process-execution COM program) and have gotten nowhere.  I'd be interested in helping 
with this.  I'm pretty familiar with the .NET framework now, but really don't 
understand VC++ well enough to deal with the complexities of COM directly.

  I could try implementing a .NET object that implements the same interface as the COM 
object requires, but I didn't have a pressing need to do this (but just wanted the 
flexibility).

  Hear hear!  How about just putting a Sourceforge site together for this?
