Thank you, worked like a charm (I chose to keep the old templates). I also had another problem when I upgraded. I have a custom service (File Replication Service) that reports as down even though it is not down. I have it monitoring on our domain controllers here, the bizarre thing is that it is working on some of the DC's and not the others they are all 2000 advanced server with SP3.

Mine says "WhatsUp Gold 7.0 Copyright (c) 1997-2001 Ipswich, Inc.". I verified that 8.0 was installed by stopping the WUG service and opening the application clicking help, about WhatsUp Gold. Any thoughts as to if it is installed correctly? I have taken the leap and installed WUG 8.0, however when I connect via the web interface the link to ipswitch.com at the bottom of the page still reads as follows: WhatsUp Gold 7.0 Copyright 1997-2002 Ipswitch, Inc. Do I have 8.0 installed? How can I tell? Was this just not changed? Perhaps overlooked?
