Hello everyone -
I have WhatsUp ver 8.0 and have implemented the new Windows Events feature on a few servers across my network, some over WAN links. Everything was fine at first, but now this function seems to be eating a lot of WAN bandwidth (based on what my WAN network probes are telling me). I disable the Windows Events on those servers and bandwidth returns to normal.
I am only looking for 2 events on 1 server (a Domain Controller, Windows 2000 Server - SP2) at each remote location. WAN links range from 384k frame relay to 640k point to point T1.
Has anyone else seen this issue? Any assistance would be appreciated.
Thanks
John Foley
