Yes, it logs the windows events that I am filtering from the event viewer.  It puts them in the EV-2003-02-23.tab file and I can open it in notepad and read the contents.  What I would like to do is use it as a data source in the performance reports, but I can select it from the drop down menu.  The only selection I have is the wugstatdata.tab file for the data source.

Does the WUG log file not have the information you need?

Subject: [WhatsUp Forum] logging windows events

I am trying to figure out if I can use Whatsup Gold to log the windows events in event viewer.  I figured out how to have Whatsup Gold send me an email alert when a certain event occurs in the event viewer.  However, I would like to know if Whatsup Gold can also send this information to a log file or database so that reports can be created.  Is something like this possible with Whatsup Gold?  TIA for any help
