I have made a cgi-bin program that connect to a database with the given credentials as parameter. It return a HTML page with a specific header and in whatsup I test this header. If its correct then the database is up and running. If the database connect fails, it will write another head and the whatsup test fails and whatsup alerts me.

If that HTTP scan fails, send a page. Just an idea. At 01:09 PM 3/18/2003 +0100, you wrote: >hi, > >I'm rather new in the WhatsUp gold 8 business.
