WOW... better protect those community strings bro..... sounds pretty dangerous.  remember, SNMPv1 all communities are passed in CLEAR text.  this is the main reason why i don't enable server re-boots or router re-boots via SNMP sets.

Hi, people.

Does anybody know of a  UPS MIB value of any type that relates to emergency
power off?  I've got two Symmetra 16Kva power array units.  I saw nothing
of the such in the APC MIB file, and on the website all I found with
realation to EPO was APC's remote power off device, which can be used as
part of an EPO system.
Is this some type of set-up by which, if I know there is a disaster
situation like a fire in a building, I can send out an SNMP set command
that will force all power off through the UPS??
