APC's document "PowerNet Management Information Base (MIB Reference Guide)"
has information on turning off the power. Check Chapter 3, How to control a
UPS. There is an OID upsAdvControlUpsOff, it has the right values for what
you wish, there is also an OID to allow the UPS to stay up but disconnect
the outlets (PDU).

Subject: Re: [WhatsUp Forum] APC UPS - emergency power off

Hi, people.

Does anybody know of a UPS MIB value of any type that relates to emergency
power off? I've got two Symmetra 16Kva power array units. I saw nothing
of the such in the APC MIB file, and on the website all I found with
realation to EPO was APC's remote power off device, which can be used as
part of an EPO system.
Is this some type of set-up by which, if I know there is a disaster
situation like a fire in a building, I can send out an SNMP set command
that will force all power off through the UPS??

Thanks......
