That is most likely the problem...

If you view Quick Status.... and the page is set to view "Log"....
Then all of the log files on the system, will have to be searched for
anything relating to that device...

A quick way to bypass this problem, is to change your log file directory to
something else temporarily...
(remember that new logs will start to be generated at the new locations )
Configure | Program Options | Logging | Advanced | Log file directory...
