I have NetBotz and for the most part it works very well in our 4000 sq ft data center and LAB. Long range shot of about 100' is no problem in telling who it is... You might want to contact NetBotz, seems like you might have a problem.
You might try an AXIS just for pictures. I also have seen a lot of the (www.akcpinc.com) and know a lot of people that like them also.
