Without using the event viewer of a particular system, does anyone have
any good ideas to have WUG monitor a WMI value.
For
example: Instead of using SNMP thresholds to monitor CPU utilization, use
WMI to get the CPU info and trigger an alert based on certain criteria much like
how WUG does SNMP.
I
cannot think of a good way to do it without building the majority of the logic
into a VB/WMI script. Am I wrong to assume that the new Exchange and SQL
plug-ins that ipswitch is trying to sell just monitors WMI
objects?
Thoughts?
