I may be leading you down the wrong path since I kept my templates from rev 7 and there is a difference in the devicedetails page that calls the deviceacknowledge page.
The deviceacknowledge page remained the same between those revs.

What browser are you using? I've seen this with Netscape and Mozilla, but not with IE. I believe it may have something to do meta-equiv link to refer back to the original devide page and the caching that's on the browser. I don't see this on the acknowledge MAP, just the device. I am running 8.01, saw the problem in Rev 7, it got worse in rev 8. Running netscape 4.77 on solaris and I don't recall the Mozilla rev on Linux. Jay
