Hi Phil,
I just ran the same report on our server
(Detail worst first). I found a few of the same problems:
1. Sometimes the downtime column doesn’t
fill in?
2. Also, our mail server showed up after two
devices that clearly had less down time.
Lightship (ISP) 2090
Netopia Router 2024
Mail 12641
The rest of the devices worked fine.

APC Smart UPS 1
20030106 1020 SVCDOWN HTTP (HyperText Transfer Protocol)
20030106 1021 SVCUP HTTP (HyperText Transfer Protocol) 1
This is a great report. Maybe it
will get cleaned up in the next release. I had an enormous file to scroll
through, it would be nice if they made the device name 3-4 times larger and in
a different color so that it wasn’t so easy to scroll right past a
device. It really should be in a frame so that I don’t loose the
column descriptions at the top.
Are you the same Phil Morneault I read
about in Internet Week awhile back?

Subject: [WhatsUp Forum] Outage
Report problem
Hello, Im trying to use the outage report tool and
finding problems. When using the Detailed reports, say Worst Case, it
doesnt always sort them in the right order. Another problem is sometimes
there is no polls missed count and no indication as to when the device came
back up. Another issue is it doenst show the total outage downtime even
though there is a heading for that field.
Here is a snip of the report, note no DOwn time info,
and no UP timestamp entry so you cant even figure it out.
