All, We monitor routers and switches at our site using WUG 8.03.
How we have our site set up like a hierarchy with the routers at the top and
the switches as children. We monitor devices that are connected to each
other through Services as an Interface. Whenever a child goes down, its
parent sends an email and SMS message letting us know that the Interface
(child) is down. When the interface goes down it gives us the detailed
information that we want. When the interface comes back up, all that the
messages say is SVCUP and no other information. I would like to know the information
that it gave me when the interface went down incase more then one interface
goes down. Could somebody please give me suggestions on how to fix this?
Thanks in advance. Below is the information that we receive when an Interface
goes up and down. Down switch Interface(36)
