I think you misunderstood. This is a user who is accessing the web interface. When
he tries to click on an icon (such as a server) the page just refreshes, he cannot
click into the device's detail sheet or another map (if it is a subnet or container
icon/object) - He isn't trying to change anything, just trying to view different maps.

In the Configure, go to web interface and click on enable config
it will allow you to do any change you want on your web interface.

XP

Does the users account have the permissions set up to open host objects
for the map he's trying to access?

I have a user with XP Pro and IE 6.0.2800 SP1. He is unable to click
on
any icons in the web interface. When he clicks on an icon it just
refreshes the map as if he clicked somewhere else on the page rather
than over an icon. Has anyone seen this behavior? This is WUG ver 8.

Other users with the same OS and IE versions (including me) are not
seeing this behavior. He is using a new laptop from Dell, the OS was
installed at the factory.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
